MEET COACH ERIC

Coach Eric has done his time on the turf and in the training room of the University of Alabama, IMG Academy in Florida and, most recently, at a rehab and back-to-play facility in New York City.

While at the University of Alabama 2005-10, Coach Eric worked under Head Strength Coach Scott Cochran and contributed to the following achievements: 2006 SEC Champions (Baseball) producing MLB players Alex Avila and David Robinson and Tommy Hunter; 2006 Men’s Tennis Sweet 16; 2006 Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament Appearance; 2007 Men’s Tennis NCAA Tournament Appearance; 2008 SEC West Champions (Football); 2009 SEC Champions (Football); and Training 2009 Heisman Trophy Winner Mark Ingram.One of Coach Eric’s proudest achievements includes the 2009 National Champion Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team under Head Coach Nick Saban.

At IMG Academy (2010-2015), Coach Eric was the Director of the IMG Football Program,working directly with Chris Weinke, the 2000 Heisman Trophy winner and current QB Coach for the St. Louis Rams.He also trained eight Under Armor High School All-Americans and three US Army All-Americans. 

Coach Eric has developed over 30 NCAA athletes who are currently still playing for FCS & FBS schools.

Additionally,Coach Eric worked directly with the NFL combine and Off-Season training program and was privileged to be under the tutelage of  Head Strength Coach Scott Gadekin and Director of Speed Lorean Seagrave.

In the Big Apple, Coach Eric prepared actors, high-level business executives, college recruits,and professional athletes for their Game Day. He helped such celebrities as Sam Rockwell, Leslie Bibb and Michael Godere get ready for movies that required high-intensity physical performances. Similarly, hedge fund owners, marketing moguls and high school team sports athletes angling for recruits needing the eagle-eye of Coach Eric to get from A to B in achieving their fitness goals. 

Now, Coach Eric is bringing his experience of working with a variety of different athletes with vastly different goals back to Tuscaloosa at GameChanger Performance Training. GameChanger offers weekend warriors, teen athletes and pros a customized and purposeful way to train and change their athletic engines while having a good time along the journey. 

From shifting body composition– and turning fat to muscle--to shaving seconds off a mile, from lunging to  a net shot to making a field goal, from learning how to do a perfect squat to learning what it takes to play ball for a D1 college, Coach Eric works with athletes of all ages –from middle schoolers to pro athletes– of all abilities – from couch potatoes to professional players. 

The only requirement to train with Coach Eric is to want to change up your game, whatever it is, and see results in the process.
